Such features include standard lane keep assist, standard automatic emergency braking, and available adaptive cruise control.
Kelley Blue Book mentions the safety alert seat found exclusively on the Premier trim: “With a vibrating seat cushion, it warns drivers of approaching hazards. Something coming from the left would set off the left side of the seat and vice versa.”

The ride can be harsh at times, particularly with the optional 19-inch wheels (17s are standard), and rougher stretches of road transmit some unpleasantness into the cabin. “
What about interior amenities? Car and Driver touches on this model’s connectivity features:
“A 7.0-inch touchscreen (an 8.0-inch unit is optional) displays Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment interface atop the Equinox’s dash; the system continues to impress with its ease of use and quick responses. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as are Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, USB connectivity, and an auxiliary input jack. Standard 4G LTE onboard Wi-Fi makes the Equinox one of the best-connected crossovers.”
Critics at MotorTrend are not fans of the Chevy Equinox’s cargo space, but otherwise applaud its dimensions:
